ModRequirements¶
- Cities: Skylines II via Steam, Xbox App, Microsoft Store or Game Pass.
- The same mod version on every computer.
- The same gameplay DLC enabled everywhere. Radio station DLC does not matter, and CS1 Treasure Hunt is ignored because it cannot be disabled. See Disabling DLC.
- No other mods, except the supported ones: Traffic, Road Speed Adjuster, Anarchy, Find It and Asset Icon Library. Any other active mod blocks hosting and joining - see Mods and compatibility.
- A connection type both sides agree on: Steam Relay or a direct connection.
Install¶
- Find CS2 Multiplayer Mod on Paradox Mods.
- Add it to an empty playset and enable it.
- Restart Cities: Skylines II if the game asks you to.
Open Options afterwards. If CS2 Multiplayer Mod does not appear there, follow Menu issues.
Play together¶
Pick the connection type that fits and follow that page - each one walks through hosting and joining step by step.

| Direct connection | Any copy of the game, and any local network. Needs an address and a port |
| Hamachi or another VPN | Any copy of the game, when the host's port cannot be opened. Every player installs the VPN program |
While you play¶
| Situation | What to do |

| The city looks out of sync | Type /sync in chat, or press Sync World in the multiplayer panel |
| You cannot join at all | Compare mod version, game version, DLC and active mods - see Troubleshooting |
| An error dialog appeared | Use its Open Help button, or look it up in the error reference |
| You want to report a bug | Type /diag in chat right after it happens and send the file - see Reporting a problem |
